A Quick word from Rossa

When people say to me that they can't cook, I tell them you can, the problem is that you often think it is complicated, but it is not.  It is all about being organised and having your timing right.

Here is a simple example.. Roast Chicken with Buttered Potatoes and Thyme Scented Garden Peas.

The first thing to do is put your chicken on to cook, which will take approximatly 1.5 hours.  While cooking the chicken, peel your potatoes and cut them all the same size.  Put them on when there is 40 minutes left for your chicken to cook, then when you take your cooked chicken out, put your peas onto cook, what will happen is everything will come together in a relaxed manor and will be very fresh when serving.  No Complication, it is simple, the key is organisation and timing.

When cooking, the best tip I can give is to taste everything, if something is bland, season it or add flavours like fresh herbs or garlic, but please taste everything before you serve.
