Head Chef of the Maudlins House Hotel
I am the Head Chef here at the Maudlins House Hotel since it first opened in April 2006. I grew up in the local area, and I have over 19 years experience in various establishments from Barberstown Castle to Marlfield House.
Together with my team we have worked hard, we show our pride and passion in our food, which has paid off with being awarded with 2 AA Rosettes in our Restaurant. We also give equal passion to the food we deliver in the lounge.
The Style of food we serve is simplicity in flavours with clean cut presentation. I use combinations in food that work together.
Almost everything we prepare is freshly made by ourselves, as well as given a distinctive flavour to the customer it also gives a greater knowledge to my fellow chefs who in later stages in their careers will pass on to their fellow chefs.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed in Maudlins House Hotel and we were so impressed with it. Our room was gorgeous, so cosy and comfortable, possibly the best nights sleep I've ever had. The bar food was delicious, so tasty and great value for money. Also, all of the staff (Reception in particular) were so friendly and helpful, such a pleasure to speak too. Overall, our stay was completely relaxing and so enjoyable, we will definitely be back in the very near future.

Hi my stay here on the 11th of feb was brillant. This hotel is a gem and cant wait to go back. My room was the coach room and it was so so hot. lovely.Could not say a bad thing . Everything and everyone excellent. Angela from Banbridge
